Extended School Year Program

Power has been restored at Yonkers Montessori Academy. The Extended School Year (ESY) program will run as normally scheduled tomorrow, Wednesday, July 16th.

EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR PROGRAM AT YMA CANCELED TODAY, TUESDAY, JULY 15, 2025

Due to the inclement weather resulting in a power outage at Yonkers Montessori Academy, the Extended School Year (ESY) program has been canceled for today, Tuesday, July 15th.

We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and flexibility. Further updates regarding the status of the program will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.

We are delighted to report the success of our schools in the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Majors, the performance and judging event for ensembles. It’s a joy to celebrate PEARLS Hawthorne School, Robert Halmi, Sr Academy of Film & Television, and Yonkers High School.

The Yonkers Public Schools Arts Expo returns to the Riverfront Library Atrium during Yonkers Arts Weekend on Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18. Featuring student work curated by the arts faculty, it will take your breath away. Do not miss!
