🏆💙 The Yonkers Montessori Academy Lady Eagles were honored today by Knicks legend Walt “Clyde” Frazier and Stew Leonard Jr. during a special celebration at Stew Leonard’s.

The NBA Hall of Famer shared words of encouragement with the team, telling them, “Don’t let anyone take away your pride, your confidence…” Olympic silver medalist and former basketball standout Gail Marquis also congratulated the champions, reminding them, “Be proud! You will always be known as the first.”

The Lady Eagles made history this season by becoming the first girls’ high school sports team in Yonkers to win a New York State Championship, a legacy that will inspire generations to come. This is #YonkersMagic. ✨🏀
