IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT NEXT WEEK!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT NEXT WEEK!

Juneteenth commemorates the date in 1865 when Major General Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston, Texas, to announce the end of legalized slavery, two years and six months after Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation.

This week was memorable! From announcing Principal Andrew Cohen as the Administrator of the Year to CBS New York highlighting the Lavender Lane Clothing Closet at Lincoln High School – we have a lot to celebrate! We honored the PTA leaders at the Annual Dessert Reception and introduced the NY’s “Bell-to-Bell” Device Ban.
