Upcoming for next week at Dodson
Monday is Mustache Monday - all students and staff are invited to purchase a $1 mustache and wear it in school. Proceeds will go to schoolwide spring activities.
Tuesday is Picture Day for students in grades 5, 6, 7 and 8 and St. Patrick's Day. Everyone is invited to wear green and St. Patrick's Day accessories.
Wednesday is Picture Day for students in grades 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Thursday is Picture Day for students in prekindergarten and kindergarten, siblings and make-ups.
Friday schools are closed for Eid al -Fitr. Eid Mubarak to all our students, families and staff celebrating Eid al-Fitr.

The next distribution from the Robert C. Dodson School Pantry starts tomorrow Thursday, March 12 and continues Friday, March 13 from 9 am - 12 pm.
All families that previously completed and submitted the Feeding Westchester Intake Form should plan to come to school to get their food on either Thursday or Friday between 9 am and 12 pm. You do not need to fill out paperwork again.
If you would like to join the food pantry at Dodson, please request a form from your child's teacher, fill it out and bring it to school. New members will be able to take food when you submit paperwork.

The Smile New York Mobile Dentist Clinic will be at Dodson from March 2 - 13 for yearly check-ups.
If your child saw the dentist last year at Dodson, they will have a scheduled appointment during the school day.
If your child is new to Dodson this year, and you would like a dental appointment for them, please return the dental consent forms that were sent home and we will schedule the appointment.

All Yonkers Public Schools and Central Office facilities are closed on Monday, February 23, 2026, due to the blizzard warning.
Only building custodians and snow removal team members should report.

Dodson's Valentine's Spirit Week concludes tomorrow!
Friday is Pajama Day for PreK - 6th grades.
The Valentine’s Day store has a few items left and will be open during lunch periods on Friday.
Prekindergarten Valentine's Day celebrations are at 8 am.
Grades 7 & 8 will have a Valentine's Day Dance.
