Please review the information sent to your email. We will begin this school year joining Yonkers Public Schools and the State of New York as we implement the bell to bell distraction free school day which requires students to restrict the use of internet enabled devices during the school day.
To support our students, Yonkers Public Schools is providing every student with a device to use in school and take home. Please read the letter in the email along with completing the parent consent that will be available on September 3rd.
Together we will make this year the best ever at YMA. I can't wait to welcome our entire learning community home to YMA for the 2025-26 school year.

EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR PROGRAM AT YMA CANCELED TODAY, TUESDAY, JULY 15, 2025
Due to the inclement weather resulting in a power outage at Yonkers Montessori Academy, the Extended School Year (ESY) program has been canceled for today, Tuesday, July 15th.
We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and flexibility. Further updates regarding the status of the program will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.

Report Card window is now open, window closes Wednesday, June 18, 2025. PK through 6 closes at the end of the school day, grade 7 through 12 closes at 12:00 p.m.
Summer Address/Contact information is being collected electronically and is due today, please check your email for the link. If you are having trouble signing in please see Ms. Vicale in the main office.
Teachers/Staff/Students:
With your help SGO will be donating pet supplies to our local animal shelter. Please, donate to our wish list: We Urgently Need New & Clean items. The SGO has also made a Pet wall across from the Cafeteria to display your pet. If you would like your pet to be displayed, please bring a picture with its name on it. Donations will be collected through Monday, June 23, 2025. Donation boxes will be located in the Main Office and the South Wing Office.
Modified boys' baseball is having an end of the year meeting in room 221 at the beginning of fifth period. All players are required to attend.
