At the heart of the Administrators’ Retreat was the #YonkersMagic - our shared commitment to making every student and family feel welcomed, valued, and supported in our schools.

- English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
- Career and occupational training
- Employment assistance and other support services
Day and evening classes are available at locations throughout Yonkers.
Yonkers residents age 18 and older are eligible. Space is limited, and classes are offered based on enrollment and available funding.

250 backpacks filled with school supplies and sensory tools were distributed to students with IEPs enrolled in the district’s 12-month program. These thoughtful resources help support emotional regulation and equip students with the tools they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

☀️ Last week, students at the Martin Luther King Jr. Academy (MLKA) Summer Enrichment Program welcomed Superintendent Dr. Soler, Associate Superintendent Mrs. Collins-Judon, and Associate Superintendent Dr. Rivera with a musical performance and a showcase of camp-themed artwork.
