Have a wonderful weekend!

Today Yonkers Public Schools announced the appointment of Dr. Marvin Louis Robinson III as the Executive Director of Yonkers Public Schools’ nationally recognized My Brother's Keeper program! Dr. Robinson is a longtime educator and organizational leader with experience spanning school leadership, national program development, and public service.
As part of Dr. Robinson’s outstanding journey, he held a three-month fellowship as a White House Fellow with the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans during the Obama Administration and previously served as Director of Black Male Engagement for the Center for Black Educator Development.
Please join in giving him a warm welcome.

A generous toy donation from the Francey Brady’s Bar helped make Three Kings Day unforgettable at School 23. 🎁 From LEGO and Barbie to Hot Wheels and Pokémon, this donation brought smiles to students recognized for their academic success, perfect attendance, and positive citizenship.
A special thank-you to Glenda Rooney Harrington from the Francey Brady’s Bar for helping bring this meaningful moment to life and for supporting #YonkersPublicSchools. #YonkersMagic

In both November and December, Empress Ambulance EMTs, including several proud graduates of the Barack Obama School, visited Mr. Cacciola’s class to support hands-on learning. Students reinforced their classroom knowledge of splinting short and long bones, triage bandaging, wound care, and tourniquet application to Stop the Bleed, along with other real-world skills.
