Yonkers MBK addresses persistent opportunity gaps impacting boys and young men of color. We seek to ensure that all young people can reach their full potential.
The City of Yonkers joins with more than 250 My Brother's Keeper communities in all 50 states that are connecting young people to mentoring, support networks, and the skills they need to find a good job, or go to college and create successful lives for themselves, their families and their communities.
Since 2016, Yonkers schools have been creating dynamic and well-attended MBK programs, including the Each One-Reach One mentorship program, career fairs, empowerment assemblies, cross-age literacy tutoring, a Dress for Success donation closet where young job-seekers can suit up for interviews, and dozens more.
