Hello families! 

I'm so excited to be joining the staff at School 23 this year, as a 4th grade teacher!  Although my name is hyphenated, you are welcome to call me just Mrs. Wada (it's easier to say and easier to remember one name, rather than two).

I am a graduate of the Yonkers Public Schools, and have my MSEd from Sarah Lawerence College.  I've been in the district since 2009, when I began as a teaching assistant, and then became a teacher the following year in 2010. 

A few fun facts about me: I'm a wife, a mom to a little girl born in 2019, as well as a stepmom to an almost-20-year-old.  I have a dog and cat at home, and love writing and crafting.
