Welcome 7th graders! My name is Ms. Cam and I'm so excited to be working with you in our brand new building this year. This is my 7th year teaching. I worked in the Bronx (my hometown) for four years before moving to Yonkers School District last year. We're going to be reading, writing, discussing, and relating our books to current events this school year. I can't wait to meet you!

Fun Facts: 

1- I have an (almost) 2 year old son

2- Aside from being a teacher, I run an organization that gives books and promotes diverse literature to my neighbors in the Bronx

3- Justice Sonia Sotomayor and I went to the same high school!
