Welcome to 2nd grade!

My name is Mrs. Linares and I am so excited to be your child’s English teacher this year. This is my 15th year teaching and my 6th year teaching in 2nd grade. 2nd grade is an exciting grade where students become more independent and use their foundational skills to bridge towards more complex ways of thinking. My goal is to empower my students to be inquisitive, independent and proactive citizens, while promoting their social-emotional growth. I look forward to an amazing school year filled with learning and growth.
