Our adult students face many issues which interfere with their ability to focus on their lives and their children’s education, such as domestic violence, unemployment, financial hardships, child care, language and cultural barriers, immigration status, health issues, incarceration and more.
In order to address these problems, The Vive School established the District’s first Family Welcome Center. Family Welcome Centers help families access the 10 pathways out of poverty by connecting them with the community resources necessary to meet the goals of daily living, and help their children succeed in school.
