• CLASS EXPECTATIONS

    Students are expected to

    be respectful.

    be on-time.

    be prepared.

    take risks.

    believe in yourself.

    ATTENDANCE

Attendance (being present regularly & on-time) is a great and important factor for the child's academic success. When a child is regularly present, the child is more likely to keep up with daily lessons, assignments and class discussions. Students are still responsible for making up the work that they miss when they are absent. When the student returns to school, they are expected to turn in a note of absence to the main office.

    1st period class begins at 7:45 A.M.

    9th period ends at 2:39 P.M.

    HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS

Homework is assigned daily and it is checked every Monday of the following week for effort and completion. Homework may be a page(s) in their math workbook, worksheet, or online.  Again, if a student is absent, the student is still responsible for making up the work that was missed.

    PROJECTS

At the end of each unit, students will complete a project as a form of assessment. A rubric will be provided for students to follow and self-assess that they are meeting the requirements.
