It is my hope that your children will come to school with excitement and enthusiasm. They are the dreamers and the meaning makers. It is my job to foster their learning and discovery.
While we are teaching remotely, I hope that your child will have a quiet spot in your home, with minimal distractions. This new form of teaching is a journey where we will all learn along the way.
In order to best facilitate remote learning, I ask if everyone could have the following supplies at home:
Crayons
Pencils
A hard covered notebook
Child scissors
Glue
Playdoh - a few colors (Please don't mix them! We will have a special activity for that!)
1 package construction paper (colored paper)
Packets of work that are in the Together bundle that was picked up at school.
These supplies should be stored in a box, so your child will be prepared when we work together.
Before returning to the school building, I recommend your child wear their mask at home for extended periods of time to get used to it. I know it is difficult, but we want everyone to remain healthy and safe. We will have many mask breaks throughout the day.
For A and B groups who come to school only, I ask that you get the following items:
1 reusable water bottle labeled with your child's name
A healthy snack in a disposable bag
An extra set of clothing in a clearly labeled bag with their name
Disposable lunch bags (If your child is bringing lunch to school)
Extra Masks
A lanyard to clip the mask on so they aren't dropping on the floor when they take them off for breaks and meals.
1 kindermat - nothing else will be accepted because the others can't be sanitized daily
1 hardcover notebook to be left in school. Please don't send in the one you are using at home.
1 plastic smock
1 folder with pockets for school-wide notices going home
