    Students will develop critical thinking and analytical skills through discussion, interpretation of primary and secondary sources of historical events, and communication of findings through writing and presentation aligned with Next Generation Learning Standards.

    Resources: IXL, PNW BOCES, Project Based Learning (PBL), and the Integration of ELA (Reading, WRITING, Listening, and SPEAKING.)

    Topics of Study: World HistoryGeography,

                                   Government and Civics and Economics

     

    Civic Assignments of Exploration:

    Through research, interactive activities, oral and visual presentations, and theatre, students will identify and apply civic knowledge, build media literacy, analyze civic engagement, and understand the process of democracy.
