Hello MS-2 Families,

Welcome Back to School 17 "Where Learning Is Fun!"

My name is Ms. Baker and I will be teaching our Special Education 5th & 6th grade class this year at School 17.

The Reading Program we will be using is Benchmark and for math we will use iReady and Math Modules/EngageNY.

We will also be using Apps from my Clever page as well.

All are located on Clever.com

Homework is assigned daily to reinforce what is being done in class.

All homework assignments, news and updates are posted on ClassDojo.

Students and parents should log onto and check the ClassDojo Class Story Page daily for announcements.

All assignments are on the Apps and/or in a subject notebook.

Click on the App and complete the assignments by the due dates.

If you have any questions, send me a message on ClassDojo or call (914) 376-8345 and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Read every day, pick books at your own levels, ENJOY!

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

Hello and welcome to class MS-2 at School 17.  My name is Ms. Baker and I will be your child’s special education teacher this school year.  I am looking forward to working with the children and families of this class to build a successful and productive classroom community.  If you would like to discuss your child’s progress and/or have any concerns at any time, please write a note on your child’s point sheet to set up a meeting, text me on the Classdojo or call the school (914) 376-8345, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Please fill it out and return all the paperwork for your child as soon as possible along with 3 emergency cards given.

In order to make your child’s learning experience a positive and productive one, it would be helpful if you would send in the school supplies listed below, for the first week of school.
