Respect Everyone: Treat your classmates, teachers, and other school staff with kindness and respect. Use polite words and actions. Listen and Raise Your Hand: When someone is speaking, listen attentively. Raise your hand if you want to speak or ask a question. Follow Directions: Always follow instructions from your teacher and other adults in the school. This helps keep the class organized and safe. Be Responsible: Bring your homework, books, and supplies to school. Complete your assignments on time and take care of your belongings. Use Inside Voices: Keep the noise level appropriate for the classroom. Save your loud voices and energetic play for recess. Keep Hands and Feet to Yourself: Play and interact with others in a friendly and safe way. No pushing, hitting, or roughhousing. Share and Take Turns: Share materials and be fair when it's time to take turns in activities or games. Be Punctual: Arrive at school and to your classes on time. Being punctual helps your learning and keeps the class running smoothly. Keep Your Area Clean: Help keep your classroom tidy by cleaning up after yourself. Throw away trash, put materials back in their place, and keep your desk organized. Be Kind and Inclusive: Make an effort to include everyone in games and activities. Be a good friend and don't exclude anyone. These rules create a positive and respectful classroom environment, allowing students to learn and thrive while feeling safe and valued. Teachers may also consider involving students in creating and discussing these rules to foster a sense of ownership and responsibility in the classroom.
