Class of 2023 Scholarship Book
The Yonkers Public Schools believes that college is in the future for every student. With this in mind, the District compiled a comprehensive booklet containing information about various scholarships available to the Class of 2023.
The scholarships in this booklet are sponsored by a number of Yonkers community organizations that will make the final determination as to award recipients, but there are countless other opportunities available to graduating seniors. Therefore, it is not only important for you to carefully review this booklet with your parents/guardians, but you should also directly confer with school counselors regarding additional scholarships accessible on a national and state basis. School counselors will also guide you through the diverse forms of financial aid assistance.
The Naviance program is a useful tool for college and scholarship searches, and, more importantly, the completion of online scholarship applications. Use your Naviance accounts to support you throughout the college process. If you do not have access to your log-on information, contact your school counselor in the Guidance Office.
The Yonkers Public Schools is ready to work with you and your family to achieve your career and college goals. Our schools are educating students to meet the challenges of an economically competitive, technologically advanced, culturally diverse, and knowledge-based twenty first century society. This scholarship booklet is one of many tools available to help you achieve a meaningful post-secondary education.
