Hello Parents/Guardians and Students! I hope all of you are well. I have some of you for speech and language therapy at School 17.

I have compiled a small packet, so far, of some information for students to work on based on where we left off as well as some helpful tips to work on your child's speech and language skills while at home. Additionally, I want to stress the importance of having your child read books each day. While reading books, you can facilitate many speech and language skills such as sounding out words, responding to questions, identifying the main idea and details, summarizing, sequencing activities within the story, etc. This is a challenging time for teachers and families alike and I want you to know that I am here to assist you in any way possible to make sure that your child is maintaining his/her skills while at home. If you or your child have any questions, comments, or concerns please reach out to me, I am here to help.

I will be available to answer questions Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 12pm. Please e-mail me for worksheets and activities to be sent to you that are specific for your child. My e-mail is and I will respond to you as soon as possible.

3/30/20: Parents/Guardians & Students: I have touched base with many of you already, sending you individualized work. Please continue to email me your completed work assignments and any questions or comments so that I can further assist you.

4/6/20: Parents/Guardians & Students: I hope all of you had a restful weekend. I have set up a class dojo for my speech students. For parents who have not connected yet to my class, please accept the invitation. I will be posting all of my assignments on there. Also, please continue to check your emails and class dojo messages from me as I will continue to send check in emails. As stated, please send me completed work assignments and any questions so that I can assist you and your child with the assignments.
