Yonkers Tennis Center Visit

  • Museum 25 students visited the Yonkers Tennis Center for a fun day of tennis instruction. Our visit capped an incredible year during which the YTC provided 20 weeks of tennis instruction to our students. While at the tennis center, instructors taught our students important strokes such as the forehand, the backhand and the volley, while also teaching them the rules of the game.

This amazing program came to Museum 25 as a result of a grant from the United States Tennis Association. The Yonkers Tennis Center is participating as part of its Coach Pat Project, which is named in honor of longtime YTC coach Pat Rogers, who passed away last year. Coach Pat was an inspiration to all and this program gives the Yonkers Tennis Center a chance to pass on his love for kids and his love for the game.
