Here are many resources for continued learning BENCHMARK.
My 3-grade students came up with some learning rules:
Raise your hand to ask or answer a question.
Stay focused and pay attention to classmates and the teacher.
Be quiet when your teacher or classmates are talking.
Be kind and act appropriately.
Some expectations for active learning:
Students are encouraged to access online resources to enhance and supplement instruction.
Daily practice using English includes writing, letters or notes to a friend or family member, making lists, writing/telling stories, sharing jokes, and singing.
Most importantly, elementary students have one primary responsibility: students read every day, either independently or with a family member. Research shows that daily reading improves students’ overall academic performance.
