I hope you are all healthy, safe and staying engaged with your families. Due to unfortunate circumstances, I will and have been posting my information online. I am specficially using Google Classroom.

7th grade is currently reading THE WITCH OF BLACKBIRD POND by Elizabeth George Speare. Students should have read up to Chapter 5 and completed questions 1-5. There was a chapter one quiz posted that was due on Monday March 23, 2020. While reading, students should also be completing the character chart. I will be posting updates, messages and assignments from my google classroom website so be sure to check in their daily. 

8th Grade is currently reading THE GIVER by Lois Lowry. Before being quarantined, the eighth grade set up their dialectical journals. Each chapter being read students need to find 3-5 quotes and respond to them. I have attached the requirements here just in case. I will also post on google classroom. Chapters 1-12 should have been read, responded to and questions answered. On Castle Learning, there are two assignments for The Giver. These assignments are being used as quiz grades. 

I are available for communication every weekday, via email, from 8:30 am-12:00 pm

For any child having difficulty logging into CLEVER here are the credentials: 

The Username is your child's 6-digit ID # followed by @yonkerspublicschools.org (ex. 123456@yonkerspublicschools.org). 

The password is your child's 8-digit birthday (ex. 03192020).
