Ms. Angela Vetrano

Ms. Vetrano's Virtual Classroom

Welcome parents and guardians to Ms. Vetrano's 4th Grade Class! I wanted to introduce myself and to tell you how excited and honored I am to be teaching your children this year.

Please note that the district will be using Microsoft Teams this school year. While our class has not been activated yet, you should get acquainted with the software. The district has provided information on Microsoft Teams on the YPS District homepage under “For Parents”. Please see the below link to the site. I will send a more detailed instructions to follow. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

As we start the current school year remotely, please log into Clever, find Office 365, go to Microsoft Teams, and locate your class. Students should use their 6 digit ID @yonkerspublicschools.org and use their date of birth mm/dd/yyyy (example 09082020) as their password. If they are prompted to create a new password, it should be Pulaski04. This ID and password will be used to access all sites through Clever so it is important they remember both their username and password.  I will also ask you to favorite certain links that we will be using frequently in Clever, as well. This will make it much easier for students to access them daily. I will be available on Microsoft Teams chat for direct help and instruction (any change to this will be posted a day in advance on either Class Dojo and Microsoft Teams). You can of course message or email me (avetrano@yonkerspublicschools.org) at any other time, and I will respond as soon as possible.

You never know unless you try!

Grit is passion and perseverance for very long-term goals. Grit is having stamina. Grit is sticking with your future, day-in, day-out. Not just for the week, not just for the month, but for years. And working really hard to make that future a reality. Grit is living life like it’s a marathon, not a sprint.
