Hello musicians!

Welcome back to school!!!!  I have missed you all very much and can't wait to see you again.  Music classes for grades Pre-K through 6th will be held live on Microsoft Teams. Please check out your team music page for the schedule and the link to join our music class.  If you are unable to attend the live music class, a lesson will be posted on my YouTube page that you can use to learn the song or assignment you may have missed. Please click on Schaeffer's Music and Movement YouTube page and begin with a vocal warm-up video and then select a lesson for your grade level for the week that you missed.  You can send me an email and let me know which lesson you did and you will be counted as present.

Click on the music schedule to see when you are scheduled to have music class. I will use the flex teaching day as a performance opportunity for my music students.  If students choose to, they can perform the music lesson we are currently working on in class, as a solo.  Performing solos will not be a requirement.  This allows students to become more comfortable singing in front of groups, as well as, learn how to be a good audience member.  Only 3 classes will meet on each Performance Wednesday.  I will rotate the classes, grades Pre-K through 6, so that all students will have a chance to participate. Classes will be notified on Monday of each week, if they will be given a time slot for our Performance Wednesday.  Classes will either be held from 9:10-9:40, 9:45-10:15, or 10:20- 10:50.  If there is a holiday on a Monday and schools are closed, Monday classes will meet on a Wednesday and there will be no Performance Wednesday for that week.

Check out my virtual classroom for useful links we will use during remote learning. Students can also visit my virtual music library for fun music read a-loud books.

Please contact me at if you have any questions.

I look forward to creating music again with my Pulaski students.

Stay safe and healthy, musicians!!
