• Started over 100 years ago in New York City, Big Brothers Big Sisters is the oldest and largest youth mentoring program in the United States, matching caring volunteers with children in one-to-one mentoring relationships. There are nearly 400 Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies across the country and more than 275,000 volunteer Bigs.

    In 1958, Family Services of Westchester established a Westchester affiliate of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Currently, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Family Services of Westchester serves hundreds of children aged 7-17 throughout Westchester County.

    Family Services of Westchester (FSW), Inc., founded in 1954, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing Westchester County with a broad range of social and mental health services that strengthen and support families, children, and individuals of every stage of the life cycle.
