Welcome to second grade boys and girls.  I will see all of you at 9:35 a.m. on Tuesday for our first Microsoft Teams meeting. I sent you all an email to join my team. You can also follow the instructions the district sends you to log on. Make sure you have a notebook, 2 sharpened pencils, and crayons with you.  All Team meetings should be held in a quiet area of your house so we can all hear each other. Can't wait to meet you all!😀😁😊

 All About Me:

I have been teaching for a total of 26 years now.  The past 20 years have been spent in the same second grade classroom at the Rosemarie Ann Siragusa Elementary School.  I previously taught Kindergarten and first grade at St. Raymond Elementary School and PS 89 in the Bronx.

I hold a New York State Permanent Certification in Elementary Education Grades N to 6 and a New York State Permanent Certification in Literacy Education K to 12.

Welcome to my second grade classroom.  We will be learning so many new skills and strategies this year during some fun learning themes this year.

It is my goal to give your child the best possible education in a loving and nurturing environment that teaches respect for others and respect for themselves. I strive to provide a classroom environment that allows all children to be accepted and respected.   I also believe that I am in a partnership with parents in educating students. I am excited to be a part of your child’s growth and development both academically and emotionally.
