Welcome to First Grade! 

I'm so happy to be your teacher.  This is going to be a SIMMSTASTIC year!  I'm excited about getting to know all about you.  Here are some things you might like to know about me... 

I have been teaching for 26 years.  I graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.  I received a Masters of Science from City College in Special Education.  I am a wife, daughter, sister and a proud Auntie to twin nieces and 2 nephews.  My favorite hobby is cooking and I enjoy having my family over for dinner whenever we can get  together.  My favorite animal is a horse.  I'm amazed at how fast they can run!  I love the summer and my favorite place to vacation is the beach.  The ocean is amazing and searching for seashells on the sand is a favorite activity of mine.  When I'm not in my classroom, you can find me at the gym, as I love to workout with my friends.  I enjoy doing puzzles, making crafts and reading books.  I love all kinds of music, but I don't play an instrument.  I'm extremely organized and I love to color code things.  My favorite color is red!  My favorite food is pizza and I could eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
