    HOMEWORK- A BALANCING ACT

    Dear Families,

Students' assigned homework should be completed within one hour. Assignments are given in Khan, Sumdog, IReady and Reading.

Differentiated independent assignments may be found in Khan Academy:"Course Mastery" and also in I Ready: "My Path". Here, students will be working on their specific skill level.

READWORKS: Students will be assigned Readworks articles with question sets throughout the year. In addition, weekly reading materials are provided with the "Article a Day" feature. Students will read a short article a day and then they write what they learned into the "Book of Knowledge".  The audio for the stories may be accessed for students who need extra support.

Please encourage students to complete assigned activities first and spend any extra time on independent practice.

Please contact me with any questions or concerns.
