Welcome Back to School! My name is Barbara Dempsey, and I will be your child's teacher for the 2020- 2021 school year! I have been teaching in this school for 20 years. I taught 5th grade for 18 years and this will be my 3rd year teaching First Grade. I know that this year is off to a different start, but we will all be ok!
Please take the time each day to work on on Reading and Math, we will also do this in class! It is important to have your child focus on letters, sounds, sight words, key details, and sequencing in reading. In Math please have your child focus on numbers, counting, number bonds, and addition and subtraction. Below you will find weekly assignments that will help with these skills.
