Hi! I am super excited about starting the 2022-23 school year! A few fun facts about myself: my favorite sport is Soccer, and my favorite unit to teach is jump rope. I graduated with my undergraduate degree from SUNY Cortland and my Masters degree from SUNY Brockport in Physcial Education Pedagogy.

PE Mission Statement:

School 9's physical education strives to create physically literate individuals by exposing students to a variety of activities and skills. Students will have the opportunity to grow physically, emotionally, and mentally through activities that align with both SHAPE America and NYS Learning Standards. 

Class Expectations:

Students are expected to wear sneakers/close-toed shoes to every class. Crocs are NOT allowed in class. If students are not properly prepared, a reminder will be sent home to prepare for the following class. 

Class will be held outside in the courtyard as much as possible. If there is inclement weather, class will either be held in the cafeteria or in the classroom. 

Please bring a water bottle to school. It is important to stay hydrated for our students to be at their best!

This year we will be using class dojo to streamline parent communication. Throughout the year, class dojo will be used to provide class and individual student updates in addition to sharing photos, videos, and other student achievements.
