Welcome to Diagnostic Kindergarten at Paideia School 24!

My name is Jennifer Reis and I will be your child’s teacher. I am so happy that you and your child will be joining our kindergarten family.  I hope that your summer has been enjoyable, filled with many fun adventures. I look forward to hearing all about your wonderful adventures in the coming weeks, sharing my adventures and creating our own learning adventures and discoveries too!

Before starting my career in Yonkers, I was an elementary teacher in the Bronx for 6 years.I have a Master's degree in Elementary Education/ Special Education and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I am married and have two wonderful children and a lovable dog named Juliet. Some of my hobbies are reading and going for walks around my neighborhood.

My goal for your child this year is for him/her to truly begin to discover learning and the excitement and joy of knowledge and success. I want to show him/her that learning is fun, and give them the gift of a solid foundation for a successful educational career! I encourage you to become involved in our learning discoveries and adventures as well. Read to your child nightly and ask him/her what he/she has done in our classroom. I look forward to a wonderful year with you and your child!
