• Through our elementary school programs, students learn how they can impact the world around them as individuals, workers, and consumers.

JA programs’ materials are classroom tested and offered as self-contained kits that include detailed lesson plans for volunteers to effectively engage students. These hands-on activities help young people understand the economics and opportunities of life.

  • On Thursday, November 30, 2017 Junior Achievement (JA) - JA for the Day was hosted at Museum School 25. The JA elementary school programs are designed to help students in Pre-K – 6 grades understand business and economics. The curriculum focused on local businesses, banking, local, county, and state government. The program was delivered by neighboring Riverside High School Students. The Museum School 25 students truly enjoyed the novel learning experience. The Museum School 25 Administration and Staff wholeheartedly thank the Riverside High School Students and Accompanying Teachers as well as the Junior Achievement Staff.

Many thanks to Riverside High School teachers and students who came and worked to teach our students for an entire day on the topics of economics and real world finance. Each classroom was taught by enthusiastic and well trained high school students. We all had a great experience and learned a lot too!

Junior Achievement's unique delivery system provides the training, materials, and support necessary to bolster the chances for student success. The impact is measurable, too. Students who participate in Junior Achievement programs demonstrate a significant understanding of economics and business concepts.
