During the month of January, we continue working on daily routines in the classroom and school. 

We continue Pre-K On My Way Unit 3. Let's Investigate.  We will learn about the weather; the four seasons & push & pull. 

Students will continue writing their first name, letters & numerals. We will begin to identify and write our last names.   We will be introduced to letters Ii, Jj & Kk. 

We will count and identify numerals 1-16.   We will learn about numerical place order; 1-1 correspondence and heavy & light.  

We will learn about winter & animal adaptations in the winter.

We will learn about Martin Luther King Jr. & Lunar New Year. 

Important Dates in January

Wednesday, January 15th - Half - Day. Dismissal at 11:45 a.m. 

Monday, January 20th - Martin Luther King Jr. Day - school closed.

Friday, January 31st - Lunar New Year - school closed. 

Our Pre-K school year offers social, emotional and academic growth through age-appropriate lessons, and hands -on experiences planned and developed to promote a love of learning.
