    • Introduction to BrainPOP and pilot program with Lego Education
    • Connections to STEM, Social Studies and SEL activities
    • Sample Science lessons for 3rd and 4th grades that are NYS standards aligned
    • Introduction to the Lego WeDo 2.0 kits and the iPads
    • Participants are teamed into groups of two to create a simple robot, program it and discuss ways to use this in their classrooms.

    • Review of Science and Social Studies digital lessons using BrainPOP Jr.
    • Strategies for using the WeDo 2.0 kits to create projects that move
    • Team building and programming
    • How to incorporate the digital lessons with the WeDo kits using NYS Standards in the content areas.
    • Discussion of ways to incorporate writing and reflection.
