Math and science grades will be calculated on a point system.  Each graded activity will be given a point score.  At the end of the semester, the total points earned will be divided by the total possible points. The point score will be calculated and a grade point average will be earned.  

Students will be informed when lesson quizzes and unit quizzes will be given.  Homework will also be counted toward your child's final average.

As per the district report card, 

A  90%-100%

B  80%-89%

C  70%-79%

D  65%-69%

F  Below 65%

For example, a student earns 180 points out of a possible 200 points for the semester.  180/200 = 90%  Therefore, an "A" will be earned by that student.
