Hello everyone! Welcome to Ms. Ana Madeira's class.  I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.  We are currently living through an unprecedented time and trying to stay safe and healthy!  I would like to welcome my students to the new 2020/2021 school year.  The first month of the school year may be different but together we will get through this.  This year I will be teaching 1st and 2nd grade in the self-contained autistic class.  I am excited to be your child's teacher this year.  I know at first it might be a lot for everyone but I'm here to make it easier and learn from the parents as well.  I will take the first month of school to learn about your child and help you at home by giving you different strategies that you can use.  We will be using Microsoft Teams as a platform for our live lessons.  Different educational websites will also be provided.  I will be providing you with a schedule for both whole group and small group lessons that are suitable for your child.  In our classroom we will be working with two teachers aides, Mrs. Marji and Ms. Colletti.  At this time, we are working hard to set up a safe and healthy environment for your child.  Can't wait to meet everyone the first day of school September 8th, 2020.  Stay safe and healthy and together we will get through this!
