Day One: (30 points)
Using the following principles of design, Balance, White Space & Emphasis, create a drawing of the meaning of each word. You can use ANY shapes you want. Be sure to color your designs, include the name of the principle, and the definition in your work.

Using the following principles of design, Contrast, Movement & Repetition, create a drawing of the meaning of each word. You can use ANY shapes you want. Be sure to color your designs, include the name of the principle, and the definition in your work.
Day Three: (20 points)
Using the following principles of design, Proportion and Alignment, create a drawing of the meaning of each word. You can use ANY shapes you want. Be sure to color your designs, include the name of the principle, and the definition in your work.

Day One: (20 Points)
Watch the Youtube video (link below). Then follow the steps to create the abstract drawing. Create your drawing on an 8.5 x 11 size sheet paper. Outline your abstract drawing you created using a black marker. Then color your abstract drawing. Be mindful of the colors you are using. Pick colors that work well together. Once done, take a picture of your work and place it in your class notebook.
Day Two: (20 points)
Research: Still Life drawings. Then answer the following questions in your class note book.
- What is a still life drawing?
- How do we make still life drawings?
- What things are usually found in a still life drawing?
- What is your opinion of still life drawings?
- Name 3 artists known for still life drawings/paintings.
- Provide 2 images of still life drawings or paintings.
Day Three: (20 points)
Create a still life drawing!
How to begin:
- Set up your still life with at least 3 -5 objects.
- Take a picture of your still life with your cellphone or other camera.
- Get your materials (Pencil and paper)
- Begin drawing!
When you finish, take a picture of your work. Insert both the image of your work and the picture of your still life into your notebook.
