Welcome to 8th grade at Martin Luther King for the 2022-2023 school year. This year will be full of amazing learning opportunities. I am new to MLK but this is my 8th year teaching.  Most class communication will be done through Class Dojo. Learning is a three-way partnership, so I encourage all parents to download Class Dojo to stay on top of their child's academics. We will be practicing our math skills using IXL.com and Khan Academy. DO encourage your children to use the resources as they can be accessed on phones, tablets and computers.

All students will be taking NYS assessments at the end of the year in ELA, Math, Science and US History.
