Excited to be teaching 10th grade Geometry at Gorton High School.  2024-2025 is my first year at Gorton.

Before Gorton, I taught for ten years at Kahlil Gibran in Yonkers, P.S. 28, over by Central Ave.  I taught Math 7, Math 8, and Algebra 1.

Before Gibran, I started my teaching career at Lincoln High School, with Mr. Ramon Martinez as my mentor teacher..

I worked in STEM afterschool education programs in Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan with East River ApprenticeSHOP and Brooklyn Boatworks for many years before I switched careers into teaching.  In those years I worked in finance, with a speciality in commodities.  I worked as a derivatives option trader on the NY Board of Trade, The New York Cotton Exchange, and The Intercontinental Exchange.

Work hard in all subjects.  Your goals are merely your hopes and dreams that we choose to put effort towards.
