Students and Families of Gorton High School, I would like to introduce myslf to your community. For the past 3 years, I was a Physical Education/Health teacher at Woodlands HS and still currently serve as the Head Football Coach.   I am also an Adjunct Professor at Monroe college, teaching Introduction to Sports Management.  Teaching and Coaching have been my life's work for the past 14 years, and I am very excited to continue my career at GHS. 

Although I am a new teacher this year, I am no stranger to the district of Yonkers.  My first job opportununity came as a substitute teacher at YMHS in 2006, and I served as a Varsity Football Assistant Coach at Saunders HS and later on Roosevelt HS.  My time as a coach at Roosevelt was highlighted by an amazing Section 1 Championship run in 2009.  

During this time of uncertainty, I fully intend to assist my students in all facets of their well being.  Our education is very important, and working towards our "new normal" will always be a work in progress.  However, your social and emotionally well being is most important during these times, and a critical aspect of your learning.  I will provide a number of resources to help you navigate through this difficult time of Remote and Hybrid learning, and will always be here for my students as a mentor or guide through any issues they face.
