Mrs. Bayón-Jiménez

Mrs. Bayón-Jiménez is certified in teaching English as a New Language (ENL) to students in Pre-K to 12. She has been teaching the different levels of ENL since the year 1999. Mrs. Bayón-Jiménez is considered a highly effective teacher based on the New York State teacher's evaluation system. Mrs. Bayón-Jiménez's office hours are Monday through Friday 2:30-3:00 pm.

*Due to the Coronavirus ordeal, Mrs. Bayon-Jimenez will provide her students with daily lessons and assignments through Microsoft Teams. These assignments will be part of the first marking period grade. Therefore, students should complete the assignments on a daily basis. Students can access their class from any computer by going to 365 portal login. Once they sign-in using their school email address and password, they will be able to see and complete their assignments. The student's email address is their six digit school ID@yonkerspublicschools.org. For example: 345234@yonkerspublicschools.org. Their password is the birthdate. For example, a child whose birthday is July 27, 2007, will use the password:   07272007. Students can also download the App Teams and complete the assignments using their cell phones. If you have any questions, please, email me at tbayon-jimenez@yonkerspublicschools.org.

I will be available through Teams everyday between 7:45 AM to 2:30 PM to teach and assist students with their assignments. These assignments will help students prepare for the NYSESLAT, which is a state exam to determine a student's proficiency in English. I repeat, it is crucial that students report to their online classes and complete all their assignments. Daily attendance will be taken.
