Welcome back to the 2024-2025 school year. I look forward to working with all of my students.   The English as a New Language (ENL) program supports students from Kindergarten through Eighth grade, who are multilingual learners, as they are acquiring the English language. Content area instruction is taught in English, using specific ENL strategies.  Students receive English related services based on their Language Proficiency Level, which is assessed yearly, while they are a part of this program.  

     Our multilingual learners explore a balanced literacy approach through our Reading Language Arts program, Benchmark Advance, which also offers a special, English Language Development (ELD), component.  Students are supported through differentiated instruction while building content knowledge and academic language.

Please explore these websites, as they are there for you to help support your child through this journey.
