As an enrichment activity for 8th Grade ELA, students will participate in the Jacob Burns Film Center program titled "Image, Sound and Story." Students will apply knowledge learned in the Jacob Burns curriculum and combine it with skills learned in ELA class to create short films. Students will learn how to analyze and apply shot types and sound effects used in film. As a culminating activity, students will create short films using the knowledge learned from the curriculum.
