    Sub Plans for Day One:

    1. Start the day with a morning Journal-

    "What is the most valuable thing you own? Why is it special?"

     

    2. ELA- Commonlit Assignments (access through clever)- " The Center of the Solar System" and "The Challenge."

    Please read and discuss the stories as a class. Review multiple choice and short response questions.

     

    3. Math- Log into OneNote in TEAMS. Go to Math. Click on Adding and Subtracting Decimals. Give students 20 minutes to work independently and then review as a class.

     

    4. Science- Go to OneNote in TEAMS. Click on Science, then scroll down to Recycled Air. Read "Recycled Air" and "Blowing in the Wind." Discuss both stories and have students answer the multiple choice and short response questions. 

     

    5. Social Studies- BrainPop (access through Clever)

    Watch the video about George Washington. Discuss and review the video. Have students take the quiz and complete the vocabulary worksheet on George Washington.

    2. ELA- Commonnlit Assignments (access through Clever)- "The Clock Man" and "The Days have Names."

    Please read and discuss the stories as a class. Review the multiple choice and short response questions. 

     

    3. Math- Log into OneNote in TEAMS. Go to Math. Click on Multiplying and Dividing Decimals. Give the students 20 minutes to work independently and then review as a class.

     

    4. Science- Go to OneNote in TEAMS. Click on Science, then scroll down to Looking at the Skies. Read "Looking at the Skies" and "Not just Planets." Discuss both stories and have students answer the multiple choice and short response questions.

     

    5. Social Studies- BrainPop (access through Clever)

    Rewatch the video on George Washington. Review the quiz and vocabulary words. Have students complete the Graphic Organizer on George's Washinton's life.
