Please use the compound word template to assist you when doing your independent work.

In your notebook, list the words that are compound words shown on one side of your page. Then, list the non compound words on the other side of your page.

Now cut and paste into your notebook as many compound words you can find. Use old news papers, magazines, grocery circulars, etc.
