- Charles E. Gorton High School
- Expectations
-
- Students should only attend GGC meetings if they are interested in learning about environmentalism & veganism. The GGC is not an afterschool hangout, and all discussions/activities will remain in the realm of environmentalism/veganism.
- Students caught in multiple hall sweeps, involved in fights, cut class, or skip school will not be permitted to join the club or attend club functions/sponsored events/fundraisers. Students must attend school the day GGC meetings are held.
- Club members will never be forced to adopt beliefs/lifestyles/ideologies but should have an open mind. Attending club meetings to "troll" veganism/environmentalism will have consequences, the club is a safe space for openminded, inquiring minds. Debates are welcome, trolling or deliberate antagonization is not.
- Under no circumstances are foul language, disrespect to any students/faculty/teachers, or drama permitted. Any behavioral issues that occur during club meetings will be addressed by school administration.
- Students must attend at least one GGC meeting per month to remain a part of the GGC. Frequent absences from meetings, or an inability to volunteer/contribute ideas will result in expulsion from the club. In other words, you can't just show up when you feel like it. Make a commitment. You are not expected to attend every meeting/event, but make an effort to have your voice heard and your presence known.
- HAVE FUN!
