Our Basic 4 Point Rubric

  • 1. Student has not yet met the expectations of the task, assignment, or skill

    2. Student needs support to meet the expectations of the task, assignment, or skill

    3. Student has met the expectations of the task, assignment, or skill

    4. Student has exceeded the expectations of the task, assignment, or skill

  • ON LESS FORMAL AND EVERYDAY TASKS AND ASSIGNMENTS, RUBRICS MAY BE PICTORIAL, SO THAT STUDENTS MAY BE ENGAGED IN SELF ASSESSMENT (STARS, SMILEY FACES, ETC.)

    FOR EXAMPLE:

     

    *             Student followed one (1) part of the task directive

    **   Student followed two (2) parts of the task directive

    ***    Student followed three (3) parts of the task directive

    ****Student followed ALL parts of the task directive
