Christopher earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Long Island University - C.W. Post Campus in 2006. He then, while working full time in government, completed a Master’s degree in Education at Fordham University, specializing in School Counseling and Personnel Services in 2011. Driven by his passion for education and youth development, he volunteered at Roosevelt High School's Counseling Center through Yonkers Partners in Education, where he shared his college experiences and guided students through the application process. In January 2018 he became a School Counselor in Yonkers Public Schools accepting a full-time position in September 2021.
