ENGLISH 11 and 12 

   Hello! My name is Mrs. Merna and I am proud to be an ELA teacher at Gorton High School.  This is my 11th year here and I would never want it any other way. Besides loving teaching and my students, I love my family. I have three girls and one boy. I also enjoy art, music and cooking. BUT what I'm MOST passionate about is getting others to smile and come out of their shells. Working with students for the past 20 years continues to inspire and motivate me.
