Hello!  My name is Ms. Carline, and I teach English as a New Language to students in grades 5-8.  I work with beginning through advanced students who are identified as English language learners by New York State.  Students are supported in either an integrated model, where I work with students in their content area classes, in a small group setting in my classroom, or both.  My main goal is to develop the academic language that is necessary for students to succeed in school.
